"Hard to believe that a week has passed since the [2019] Global Earth Repair Conference.  I want to thank each of you for taking part in beta-testing this important first gathering.  Having “soft technologies" such as Griefwork given a prominent role amidst the typical physical technologies at these gatherings is crucial to keeping our movement fluid, and sane."
Nala Walla, grief doula

"Dear Michael, Words cannot express the gratitude I feel in my heart for you and for the global earth repair conference. I sometimes have an overwhelming feeling that this is the second major event in my life that you have helped facilitate... With your hard work and organizing you just seeded immense amounts of good into the world by the connections created at the conference. I have no doubt we are now stronger as a movement as a result. Thank you!"

“Since the global Earth Repair event. I have been churning. I only got to go to the evening John Liu talk, but it was enough to spark inspiration and a feeling like we may have a way through this mess. My daughter was able to attend the entire day Saturday which I was grateful for. I was hoping that she would find support and encouragement for the real fear, angst and depression that she experiences when she thinks about the future-her future. What surprised me was that I was the one who came away inspired. I had an aha wake up-- I have been one of the guilty adults that have said the next generation will have a mess to clean up, not realizing that the mess was actually mine to clean up, and it would be too late if I left it to the kids. I recently made a commitment to my daughter to be the adult in the situation-taking on what I can  in order to give her a future. With this commitment I wanted to take the bulk of the misplaced burden off her shoulders and let her concentrate on college, friends and normal young adult dreams. Thank you for your part in this wake up call.”
