Meal Options at the Convergence:
* Convergence participants are encouraged to eat meals together in The Commons. Planted’s Catering will be preparing meals in the Commons Kitchen. Planted's Catering offers delicious, locally-sourced, seasonal, sustainable and plant-based fare. Omnivore and vegetarian options. Planted is proud to feature a team of premier chefs. All food is made from scratch, providing an elegant and customized food experience for visiting Fort Worden guests. Good food!
8 meals can be purchased separately on-line from Friday breakfast to Sunday lunch. The meal package for 7 meals is $185. Friday lunch thru Sunday lunch. This averages out to $23.57 per meal. A limited number of tickets for single meals will be available at the conference. We recommend pre-registering for meals. When you register you can select for omnivore, vegetarian or vegan and list allergies.

* There are many restaurants in Port Townsend. We will make a list of restaurants which will be posted on our website before the event.
* Recommended place to buy groceries in Port Townsend is the Port Townsend Food Co-op. They are a Convergence sponsor. About a 5-minute drive from Fort Worden. 414 Kearney St, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Open Every Day 8am - 9pm
The Reveille Café
The Reveille Café is located in the Commons Building (same building as The Commons Buffet). Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Reveille Café has espresso drinks and coffee; house-made pastries and desserts; daily lunch specials and flavorful grab-and-go choices, including freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and made-from-scratch soups.
Taps at the Guardhouse

A pub atmosphere featuring artisanal small plates and regional craft brews, ciders, wines and spirits. Located at the SE corner of the first intersection at Fort Worden.Cablehouse Canteen. Down near the beach. Burgers, fries, sandwiches, soup, treats.
Earth Repair Teahouse
There will be a teahouse near the main conference building. It will have herbal teas and coffee available during the conference. By donation.
Earth Repair Kitchen
The Dormitory has two kitchens where we will prepare simple meals of tasty, nutritious food for dormitory guests. Sourced locally and organic inasmuch as possible. Meals are $12. The 8 meals will run from Friday breakfast to Sunday lunch. Pay as you go.

Fort Worden has a wide variety of lodging. From simple and low cost to high quality and more expensive. The least expensive are small rooms in dormitories with a twin bed for $170/4 nights - to large rooms with queen beds in remodeled Officer’s quarters for $450 to $650/4 nights. Home-stays. We will arrange home-stays for a limited number of presenters and Indigenous guests.
Camping:
* We have reserved a limited number of campsites for tents at the Fort Worden Forest campground. Groups may inquire.
* We will arrange camping areas at local friends’ properties near Port Townsend. If you have a tent and wish to camp we can most likely set you up. Inquire.
RVs and live-in vehicles. There will be no places to park overnight at Fort Worden. We will do further research on local options. You can do your own research. Some RV sites without hookups may be possible at nearby friends. Inquire.
